Are you a wife who's husband is completely addicted to WOW???? I am. I considered myself fortunate to have a man who works, he is not addicted to drugs, not an alcoholic, he doesn't cheat. Actually in those ways I am fortunate, but World of Warcraft seems to be the new drug. My husband sleeps about 3 hours a day. Just to give you an idea here is how his day goes. His alarm is set for 4 am every morning. He gets up makes a pot of coffee turns on his computer and plays WOW until 7:45 am then he gets ready for work and leaves the house at 8:10 am to go to work. He gets off home from work at 6:30 pm. He comes in says his hellos gives me a kiss and go turns on the computer. He tells me he has to just check his mail and won't be long but almost always I have to let him know dinner is ready and that's at 7:30pm we know it doesn't take an hour to check mail right? If he is not tied up in an insists then he eats dinner with us. He stays on the game until 1 am every night. I don't see my husband anymore due to this addiction. This schedule is Monday through Friday, on the weekends he only comes off the game to get a snack and go to the bathroom. I feel like I am loosing him. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I drew the line on Friday. He came out of his computer room and noticed I was upset. Of course I explained that I feel like I'm alone he is neglecting his 2 children and wife all for a game, pure fantasy. I let him know that he is loosing his reality. We had a long talk about it and he said that he knew he would have to delete his account. We agreed that it would be for the best. Well when he came in he could not bring his self to do it. He is still on the game ladies!!!! I don't understand. Does anyone else have this problem? This has turned out to be worse than drugs or alcohol. At least there is AA for that. We need AA for WOW. On YOUTUBE there is a kid who freaks out because his mom deleted his account. I actually watched it and it was really bad. I know games are fun and everyone needs entertainment, but it should be regulated.
